Short version: IEP Desk uses a small number of cookies. Essential cookies are required for the application to function. Analytics cookies help us understand how the site is used and are optional. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your device when you visit it. They are widely used to make websites and applications work, or to work more efficiently, and to provide basic analytical information to site operators.
Cookies can be "first-party" (set by the website you are visiting) or "third-party" (set by a service on the page from a different domain). They can also be "session cookies" (deleted when you close your browser) or "persistent cookies" (stored for a defined period of time).
IEP Desk uses cookies in two categories:
These cookies are essential for the website and application to function. They enable core features such as authentication, session management, and security. The Service cannot function without them. No consent is required for these cookies.
| Cookie name | Provider | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
sb-[id]-auth-token |
Supabase (first-party) | Stores your authentication session token, keeping you logged into the application. | Session / up to 7 days |
sb-[id]-auth-token-code-verifier |
Supabase (first-party) | PKCE code verifier used for secure OAuth authentication flows. | Session |
cookie-consent |
IEP Desk (first-party) | Stores your cookie consent preference so you are not asked again. | 12 months |
We may use analytics cookies to understand how visitors use the website — which pages are visited, how long visitors stay, and where they come from. This helps us improve the Service. These cookies are optional and will only be set if you consent.
If and when we implement analytics tools, we will update this section to identify the specific tool and cookies used. Currently, IEP Desk does not use any third-party analytics cookies.
IEP Desk does not use advertising cookies, social media tracking cookies, or third-party behavioral tracking of any kind.
The website loads fonts from Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com). Google Fonts may set cookies or store font assets in your browser cache. You can review Google's privacy practices at policies.google.com/privacy. Google Fonts is loaded via a standard browser request; to avoid any Google Fonts interaction entirely, you can disable external resources in your browser settings.
In addition to cookies, the IEP Desk application uses browser local storage for certain application state data (such as user interface preferences). Local storage is not transmitted to our servers and is not used for tracking. You can clear local storage through your browser settings.
You can control and manage cookies in several ways:
Note that disabling authentication cookies will log you out of the application and prevent you from logging back in until those cookies are re-enabled.
Some browsers include a "Do Not Track" (DNT) signal. IEP Desk does not currently respond to DNT signals differently from other requests, as there is no consistent industry standard for doing so. However, we do not use tracking cookies for advertising purposes regardless of DNT signals.
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our use of cookies. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date and notify users through the Service. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
